In taking the gun apart, none of the springs are broken and upon replacing the trigger spring, it still will not reset. My buddies had a problem cycling at first but he just left the grease from the factory in it and started shooting it.He said that ammo was not a problem, but getting the guns was. When looking at the mag tube, it appears that the mag cap pushes down on the end spacer (movable end cap that the spring fits into) and this then blocks the last shell. Is there some way to fix this on my own. Install a shorter spacer, or follower,etc. Three of the 3" shells work fine as the over all length is shorter than 4 of the 2 3/4" shell.

I have a 1967 browning A5 that has a feeding problem. It is trying to feed 2 shells at a time. One is in the chamber and the next one gets stuck in the action.
