C4000bz modem

I recently got a new century link modem (replacing an old centurly link modem) I had already had this Office Jet Pro 8020 series printer which worked just fine with the old modem. When we installed the new modem it would not find it. We tried everything and followed all the instructions to restart everything and it still wouldn't find it.
