Just had the same problems with our whisker 4. Turns out it was because we have google home wifi which runs 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz under the same name and the litter robot is not smart enough to know to connect to the 2.4ghz band when your phone is connected to the 5ghz as it does automatically...
