Hey everybody! Currently considering switching my MYLR to MYP, however I am just concerned about the range. I am pretty much sold on the MYP, but the decreased range is kind of what is throwing me off since I am essentially spending more money for less range, a key reason for going Tesla, and I also don't want to switch 21" for 19" immediately cause it feels like a hassle.

Then, the price for MYLR with induction wheels is $67,990 vs. $69,990 for the MYP-- a difference of only $2k for faster speed, arguably sportier wheels, spoiler, higher top speed, and performance brakes. Tesla service told me that they do not recommend any rotation on the MYP (even side to side) unless you are seeing uneven wear from one side to the other. Mine now have 22K miles on them and have plenty of life left and very even wear all around. Don't waste your time on rotation on MYP. Apr 1, 2022. #21. I have a brand new MYP, and ever since pick up, I've noticed that when accelerating even just very lightly to say, 10mph, there will be a small short clicking noise coming from what sounds like the driver's side rear axle. When I slow down to a stop, it also seems to be triggered.It could be the wheel's centre bore size. If it's smaller than Tesla's wheel hub (64.1mm?) this wheel won't be compatible. If it's larger you can get an adapter. Also another factor which I don't have a clear answer to is the wheel's load rating. MYP especially is a heavy car.
