I love the reduvia. It staggers enemies pretty well, has extremely quick attacks, procs bleed which is a super strong status affliction, and has a killer weapon art. The weapon art makes up for the lack of range. Plus it only costs 4fp, so you can spam the hell out of it.Reduvia also has a faster cast since it skips the animation of your character cutting themselves. Reduvia being a dagger, innately has higher crit damage. Lastly, you get it super early into the game, so you could have leveled it up numerous times before you get the Ash of war. There are plenty of reasons to use them over something else.Reduvia scales really well off Arcane, so that should be your main stat. For other off-hand options: well, you could get a second Reduvia via trading. The Bloodstained Dagger and Wakizashi both have innate bleed and higher base damage than the Great Knife.
